I had a tough time figuring out how to title this post, but finally settled on “The Great Awakening” as a way of trying to be more positive.

The other two contenders were “The American Experiment Is Over” and “Everything is Rigged.”

The reasoning behind these titles and this rant is the release of this article in Time magazine … “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign that Saved the 2020 Election.”  You can read it here.

The Time article basically admits that the forces of Big Corporate America, labor unions (not the workers, but the people who run the unions), Hollywood, the Mainstream Media and the Democratic Party united with one goal in mind… to oust President Donald J. Trump from the White House.

In the article’s own words, here is what happened…

“Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction.”

Anyone who despised Trump obviously loved what went on.

However, they should actually find it to me quite troubling, unless their goal is to turn the United States of America into the Soviet Union.

The fact that this was allowed to occur, at the same time much of the country has effectively been locked down in an effort to fight the Covid-19 virus means one thing…

Americans have given up a substantial amount of their freedom in exchange for a return to the status quo.

The funny thing is, it was the status quo that got Trump elected in the first place.

So now, we should all realize that everything is rigged.

No outsider may ever be allowed to ascend to the highest level of power in this country again.  The cabal won’t stand for it.

How do we move forward?

For many people who feel that they’ve been screwed, there is alot of anger.  That is completely understandable.

After yesterday’s Time article was released, the reaction among many on the right was to move to red states, where at least some of your freedoms are still protected.

That’s just a temporary fix.  Those states will turn purple, then blue before you know it.

Just take a look at what has happened to Virginia in recent years, and now Georgia.

Too many people are addicted to the government teat, and if the Democrats get their way, the numbers of people who rely on the government will continue to grow.

As Bernie Sanders recently said, “it’s time for people to ask what their country can do for them.”

JFK is turning over in his grave.

So, even if red states broke away and formed their own country, the same thing will happen in a few hundred years, unless they change the government model to include term limits.

Even then, I’m not convinced the world will ever see a country like America again.  The woke countries seem to love mediocrity, while the authoritarian countries such as China and Russia are licking their chops.

So, what is the way forward?

On an individual basis, the best thing to do is to do what is best for YOU.

It’s time to focus on being the best that you can be, and forget about trying to change things through politics.

Yes, it is still ok to get angry about the politics, but just know that you have no control over that crap.

The only way to right this ship over the long run is for more people to focus on themselves.  Be the best that you can be.

Get more healthy and fit.

Get smarter… read more.

Learn new skills.

Learn to protect yourself and your family.

Become more independent.

Share your knowledge and skills with other likeminded people.

If the time comes that you need to move on from what America once stood for, you’ll be prepared to go wherever you want and do whatever you want to do.

Life is too damn short to worry about what we can’t control.

What we should all now realize is that the American Experiment is over, and it’s time to move on.

The politicians and the elites in this country do not care about people like us.

Therefore, perhaps we should no longer pledge our allegiance to America, because, it is gone.

Instead, pledge allegiance to yourself, your family, your friends and neighbors.  That is where it really counts.

Be the best you can be, and maybe, just maybe, you will be able to change some minds by being the example of what America was meant to be… a beacon of hope, freedom and liberty.
